I’m Yvonne, (AKA) Autumn! A Disciple of Christ!
For many years cooking and writing have been what has given me a way to express myself and explore my creativity. I could go on and on, but as I grew closer to God, I developed a greater passion and devotion, serving God, first. About two years ago I found my passion in missionary work. God has used my heart for being a missionary to stretch me in ways I never imagined. I am truly blessed.
Meet the Chef
I love, love to cook, create delectable meals, eat, food photography, serve delicious food and eat. I also love to write spiritual literature, romance novels and children literature and poetry.
As I mentioned in my blog title, I am a disciple of Christ. That is a title I don’t deserve but feel incredibly blessed to wear and proclaim the One who has given me His name. I know there is no other name in which I can be saved (Acts 4:12).
The rest of this story shares some insight about how I got to where I now am, without including the challenges.
About
Mosaic Essence, now Herbs of Eden Organics was founded in 2013. I found it to be quite frustrating having to reach in the cabinet to pull out multiple bottles of herbs and spices to season food. So, I challenged myself to create my own spice blends to make cooking a little simpler. My first spice blend was the “All Purpose Blend.” Shortly afterwards, I began creating blends on a whim for nearly every dish I prepared. I then realized that I not only had a passion for cooking but for blending herbs and spices as well. I decided to take the spices to the public by selling them at local farmers markets, building a clientele under the Texas Cottage food, along with my delectable bake goods and all naturals cleaning products.

Our Story
Herbs of Eden Organics got its name is 2021. The name change was with the ideal of “back to the garden” where herbs first got their beginning (Genesis 1:11-12), when everything was perfect, in it’s original and natural form. Herbs were created by our strong Creator, the Most High God. Herbs serve as medicinal, culinary and cleaning purposes. That’s why Herbs of Eden Organics is the perfect name.
We have an excellent reputation for providing quality, flavorful, and unique blends to our direct-to-consumer market. We are committed to providing high-quality products at an affordable price to our consumers around the nation to make cooking faster, easier, and overall, more efficient. We offer a variety of organic handmade spice blends that serve several cultural and culinary palates, as well as gluten free flour blends. Our spice blends benefit budgeters, beginner cooks, college students with limited time and cook appliances, busy athome and commercial cooks with affordable and competitive prices.
